Through its collaboration methodology, ecloo’s mission is to create positive impact at all levels: human, organizational and social.

About ecloo

Collaboration between people with various backgrounds and perspectives is at the heart of ecloo. We believe that diversity leads to better, more sustainable solutions when people manage to open up and walk towards the “other”. This takes courage. And that’s why ecloo exists: We support people and organizations to work across boundaries and differences to transform internal cultures in order to create a positive impact in the world. The African proverb inspires our work every day:

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

Dominik Scherrer Founder ecloo

I am touched by people who dare to share their perspectives and emotions in our workshops. This encourages groups and sometimes entire organizations to embark on new paths that no one would have imagined. When I founded ecloo in 2015, I wanted to explore this potential of collaboration. After 20 years working on civil society projects around the globe, I learned to support people from various cultures, backgrounds and languages. My academic studies in History and Literature at the University of Zurich and my postgraduate education at the TRIAS Institute Zurich in Organizational Development, Consulting and Coaching complement my practical experience to be able to consult in the field of business, government and NGOs.

Consultant

I meet people and organizations with curiosity, their uniqueness fascinates me. Accompanying them along their needs and initiating conscious change processes is a matter close to my heart. It touches me when people break new ground and engage in genuine exchange. With my work, I want to create spaces that make this possible. I work resource- and process-oriented, based on systemic approaches. I like to spend my free time in the mountains, preferably climbing. Climbing a rock face fills me with joy and has taught me that you can overcome your own limits and achieve defined goals through exploring different approaches. After studying to become a teacher and a few years of practice, I continued my education in project management (CAS, HWZ), innovation management (Facilitator, University of Freiburg) as well as coaching, supervision and organizational development (MAS, ZHAW). Several years of professional experience as a company and organizational developer in both large companies and SMEs help me in my consulting work.
